PHILANTHROPY
The International Reading Rally and Literacy Event is held in partnership with the Columbus Public Libraries Summer Reading Program. As an incentive for children to finish the program, the Columbus Chapter’s contribution to this partnership is the donation of two bicycles and two helmets to each branch and mobile unit of the Columbus Public Library. Each library holds a drawing for the winner from the group of children who successfully completed the Summer Reading Program.

Columbus Metropolitan Library is celebrating four wonderful successes this year. The first is our current rating as the number one library in the nation for service, value and efficiency. The second success is another outstanding Summer Reading Club experience. In fact, our Summer Reading Club has now become one of the largest (if not the largest) in the country...
On behalf of the entire Columbus Metropolitan Library staff, I extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Executive Women International for your generous contribution to our 2006 Summer Reading Club. It is with your collaboration that we have built this successful program to share with our community.
